Darksiders 3 was an alright game and perhaps more importantly, it was a financial success: Not a runaway hit, yet an expectations-meeter, which was sufficient to ensure more Darksiders games in the future. The first of them will be uncovered on June 13 at E3 amid a board entitled Darksiders: Action Adventure Evolved.
The word of the new game is, in fact, a leak, I assume, since it didn’t drop by way of an official declaration from THQ Nordic. Yet it wasn’t a hurriedly covered-up slip on YouTube or social media. It’s really posted in the calendar for the E3 Coliseum, a fan-arranged “main stage” occasion produced by Game Awards guy Geoff Keighley “that brings videogame fans nearer to their preferred games and makers.” It will highlight “panels, discussions, and different special events,” and will run over all three days of E3.
This specific panel is “a discussion about the origin of the Darksiders universe and where it’s going next,” the calendar says. “This panel will coincide with the E3 2019 disclose of a brand new Darksiders game that takes the franchise in a fresh heading. This is a panel discourse about the art and business of making and keeping an action-adventure franchise rich in-game and corporate lore.”
I have no clue what “corporate lore” is or how it fits into a game about the Horsemen of the Apocalypse and war among Heaven and Hell, yet another Darksiders game sounds alright to me. There’s at present nothing about another Darksiders game mentioned on the official website or social media channels, so until further notice, in any event, we’ll need to sit tight for E3 to discover out more. We’ll be covering the show, and we’ll tell you what happens.

Darksiders 3 is a long way from being the best passage in the series, however, it is as yet a truly enjoyable game, thanks to the engaging battle framework, story, and characters.

Darksiders 3 is a fun game with an engaging battle system that can be extremely satisfying, especially thanks to the dodge and counterattack framework in place. The majority of this is surrounded by a shockingly compelling storyline with fascinating characters. There are issues in the game, with a couple of bugs and different technical issues as well as a pretty damn cheesy script, with the greatest problem being some downright irritating puzzle sections which are less about logically working something out than pummeling your head into a wall again and again until something gives. Regardless of any issues, I’ve truly found myself enjoying my time in the apocalypse.
