Barbaric

A very interesting hero has presented on mobile devices thanks to the wise minds of Upopa Games. An adventurous barbarian who stars in a Dungeon Crawler as striking as fun and challenging. Barbaric Analysis: The Golden Hero.

More and more titles are coming to the mobile game landscape, a sector that as many of you already know is the one that currently generates more money in this industry, whether we like it or not. Tell the Nintendo and Pokémon Company! Unfortunately, many of the offers that arrive go unnoticed due to the large accumulation of games available every week, unfortunately, that this time [/ b] we did not want to happen to [b] Barbaric: The Golden Hero.

This production of Upopa Games for both iOS and Android devices has convinced me fully, being one of my favorite titles for such mobile gaming platforms of all edited during the last months. The reason is that it stings and hooks like few others, and that is due to the intelligent game mechanics that it proposes.

The hero of this adventure is a blond-haired barbarian who has a sensational quality: roll on the ground! And this is the way we have to control and guide the actions of the protagonist, which implies unconventional handling for a type of game such as the Dungeon Crawlers.

Carambolas and adventures

Carambolas and adventuresThe control system and part of the game mechanics of this work is closely related to that golden egg hen that is Angry Birds. And it is that to move our character through the funds we must use a pointing system in which, as if it were a slingshot, it is necessary to determine both the strength and the direction that we want the protagonist to follow.

Our task in each of the levels, which are at hand full by the way, is to liquidate all the monsters that are in each of the dungeons that are part of the world of Barbaric: The Golden Hero. And the way to attack enemies is precisely by rolling on the ground to assault and crush them. It may sound a bit odd, but I assure you that the title manages to become tremendously attractive.

As a curiosity, as it loses speed during its movement, the action slows down for a few moments, which allow us to attack the rivals more precisely … and why not say it, also spectacular.

And what happens when we finish with the rivals? Well, as we move forward it is possible to pick up different objects that are inside the chests, from swords to better protections for our character, which encourages us to continue playing. And the more powerful our protagonist becomes, the more interest each game charges since the level of difficulty is well adjusted and from time to time we must take on quite tough challenges … but never disproportionate.

This is precisely another of the great qualities that this work shows. Apart from being free to play, the developers have not played the trick easy to artificially raise the difficulty to force us to spend money on extra lives, better equipment, etc. It is possible to play without spending a penny and end the rivals that come our way using only our expertise, which we deeply appreciate. Yes, it is true that like all free to play we are allowed to acquire objects and other advantages through the corresponding disbursement, but it is not mandatory at all. I love!

Anyway, we are facing a pleasant surprise in a genre as fashionable today as is the Dungeon Crawlers. And it is that everything that I have just mentioned joins a quite remarkable atmosphere and a sense of humor that suits the tone that the adventure presents.

Conclusion:

The Dungeon Crawlers genre for mobile formats receives one of the best works we remember within its genre. Barbaric: The Golden Hero is a tremendously funny title and it is difficult to stop playing. And that is due to its excellent game formula, its precise control system and how well the scenarios have been designed. A great game in its category.

  • The development is very addictive
  • A great control system inherited from Angry Birds
  • A multitude of levels to complete
  • Nothing to object to its free to play side
  • Excellent setting and graphic finish
  • Some levels are too similar
