It’s been around seven months since I originally had the chance to take a look at NZXT’s refresh of their RGB lineup, including RGB strips, under-sparkle lighting, and ambient lighting for the back of my monitor.
I truly liked the ambient lighting however, it did suffer from certain issues. The connectors for appending the strips together had a ton of leftover links length which made them difficult to manage, and, after following a couple of months the adhesive that held the strips on began to lose… muster. I found that I was replacing twofold sided tape to keep the strips appended to my monitor. Fast forward to exhibit day and NZXT has heard the protests, taken the criticism to heart, and sent over adaptation two of the much-adored HUE 2 Ambient lighting kit.
