Rabbids Crazy Rush analysis. Hi Luna, we are the Rabbids

Written by Kamran Haider

We had not known anything about the Rabbids, the craziest and most crazy Ubisoft pets that star in this new production destined exclusively for mobile terminals. Ready for a new Auto Runner? Rabbids Crazy Rush analysis.

Without being the characters that have made me the most grace in this industry, the truth is that the Rabbids have managed to win the favor of the public thanks to their thrilling adventures and, above all, to their continuous pot comings. And here we have the most recent of all, the madness that is called Rabbids Crazy Rush and that becomes a title of Auto Runner style (so long in the mobile scene) quite entertaining and relatively extensive.

The originality of its history contrasts with what is reflected in its predictable game mechanics that we will talk about later. And it is that the Rabbids have devised a new plan to reach the Moon, trying to use a hot air balloon (with pepper included) for that purpose … which they intend to propel with belching! That is why they need to collect as many cans of soda that fall into their hands (or legs), a completely extravagant and quite funny argument.

The way to get these cans is very simple to explain. The sets are plagued with them and our goal is to avoid how many obstacles are present in them (from vehicles of all kinds to fences, cliffs, etc.) while we collect these precious objects. A game formula for nothing original but that has seemed pleasant enough … although somewhat repetitive in the long term.

Run as you can

As a good Auto Runner, the bunnies automatically run through three-lane scenarios, and it is necessary to slide your finger across the screen to perform the basic actions that the protagonists can materialize: jumping, sliding on the ground or changing lanes. A control or operation quite simple and, most fundamentally, very precise, since I have hardly experienced any recognition problems on the touch screen.

To this basic formula are added different elements that give it more grace, such as the presence of certain vehicles. Throughout the game, it is possible to get on certain junctions that allow us to exceed the levels of the craziest ways you can imagine, curious vehicles such as a magnetized shopping cart or a kind of light aircraft made with a skateboard. With the Rabbids in between, I didn’t expect less …

Do you want more? Well, to this we add different special objects, such as spicy cans that allow us to accelerate the beauty when we pick them up or a kind of makeshift parachute with which we can travel long distances without putting our feet on the ground. And to top it all we also have the possibility of being able to dress the rabbits in different costumes, from one of the police to the other of the ninja, adding more fun if possible to the gameplay.

The problem is that throughout the 100 levels that the adventure monopolizes, more than the outstanding figure for a free to play the game , the action ends up being somewhat repetitive. I suppose that the problem of this is almost given by the structure of this kind of title, almost always corseted, but the truth is that after a while everything becomes somewhat tired. That is why it is highly recommended to enjoy the title in short game sessions. In addition and as you will suppose the appearance of advertisements, offers of the corresponding microtransactions and other inconveniences of these F2P titles also make an appearance, although they do not bother as much as those embodied in other similar games.

Where it is not possible to put any paste to the work done by Ubisoft Chengdú (the capital of the Chinese province of Sichuan, if you wonder where the hell this study is) is in its remarkable technical approach. The protagonists have been graced with very good and friendly animations, while the backgrounds are solid and well finished. Add to this strident sound effects and some resulting tunes and you will get a very well finished title.

Recommended: Wattam analysis, a world of extravagant ideas, characters and fantasies

The most famous rabbits in the sector star in a crazy Auto Runner free to play for iOS and Android devices that bring us good moments of fun. It is not surprising at all under any circumstances and hardly innovates in anything in particular, but its 100 levels will make you enjoy enough as well as the undoubted sympathy of the protagonists. It is worth at least downloading it given its free character.

  • The argument and the presence of the Rabbids is a hoot
  • The control is very accurate
  • 100 levels is more than decent
  • It ends up being somewhat repetitive over time
  • It offers nothing that we have not enjoyed before within the genre
